South Florida Birds
Mike's program will cover a trip he took to explore the subtropical habitats in southern Florida with the Audubon Society of Western Pennsylvania in April 2023. Specialty species were searched for in the Miami area and through the Florida Keys. The tour also included a trip to Dry Tortugas National Park, 70 miles off Key West, to view the seabird colonies and to search for neotropical migrants stopping on the islands for a break during their overwater journey north. As always with Mike's programs, expect the birds to be interspersed with other wildlife and plants.
