Description
We will meet at 8:00 a.m. at Lighthouse Island in Tionesta and proceed from there to other promising sites. Warbling Vireo, Cerulean, Black-throated Green and Blue Warblers, and Wood and Swainson's Thrush are just a few of the birds that nest in Forest County, and we hope to get some breeding confirmations for the Atlas. Participants are invited to follow Jim to a local restaurant for lunch afterwards. He is also willing to lead us to other sites after lunch, if there is any interest. The address is 5 Lighthouse Island, Tionesta PA 16353, about 2 hours from Indiana. Restroom available.
