Description
Join Tom Glover for a hike along the Mahoning Shadow Trail and a visit to Hemlock Lake County Park. Meet at 8:00 a.m. at the Winslow access to the MST. Take Route 36 from Punxytawney toward Mahaffey; go about 4 miles, and just after an Amish store on the left, turn right onto Winslow Road. The MST is on the right about half a mile from Route 36. There is a
parking area. The habitat is upland woodland. Hemlock
Lake is about 5 miles south of the trail. To carpool from Indiana, contact the Higbees (724-354-3493).
