Description

Meet at 8:00 a.m. in the parking lot opposite the trailhead on Burton Road. Please note that the closest bathroom is at the Rt. 528 Boat Launch, about 10 minutes away, or make a rest stop at one of the fast food restaurants on Rt. 8 before you get to the trailhead.

Directions: From Indiana, follow Rt. 422 west, and take the exit for Rt. 8 North. In about 7.5 miles, turn left on Euclid Road (will become Muddy Creek Drive), and go 1.4 mile. Turn left onto West Liberty Road. In .7 mile, turn left onto Burton Road. The parking lot will be about half a mile on the right. You can enter 40.97799395149071, -80.0033625950238 into your GPS for directions to the parking lot. Or enter Burton Road, Brady Township, PA 16057 into your GPS and it will take you to Burton Road, and then you can continue along Burton Road until you reach the parking lot.

This is an easy-walking trail through woods, and can be muddy in spots. Target birds are Sandhill Crane, Great Horned Owl, Barred Owl, and Ruffed Grouse.
