Moraine State Park South Shore
Outing Leader: Mike Shaffer, Moraine State Park
Description
Moraine State Park, led by Mike Shaffer. Meet at 8:00 a.m. at the South Shore Pleasant Valley Non-motorized Launch Area in the first parking lot by the restrooms.
Come out to enjoy a spring day of birding at Moraine State Park in a joint effort with the Todd Bird Club and Bartramian Audubon Society members. We will search for early season migrants including finches, sparrows, warblers, tanagers, thrushes, kinglets, gulls, terns, loons, grebes, cormorants, and waterfowl. We will bird various locations throughout the park. Interested birders, including all skill levels from beginners to experts, are welcome. Bring binoculars if you have them. If not, we will have binoculars on hand for you to use. So, just bring your enthusiasm, water, snacks, and sharp eyes and ears.
If you participated in this trip, you may add an outing report.
